Anonymous asked : Hi. have you attended drawing/painting lesson or you just learn it by yourself? Because you're so good. Drawing have been my hobby since then even before I start attending school but I never have improved like you.
Hi Anon! Thank you for the comment! :)
When I was a kid (around 7-8 years old) my mother would enroll me to art workshops but they never seemed to work for me. But during 2009-2010, I attended summer workshops and they were useful. They taught me how to shade and copy from still life. But majority of what I learned today was self-taught and trying to constantly observe people. Also making it a habit of drawing everyday.
When I started I was nowhere near good and it was also just a hobby for me. But then I tried copying from life and studying how the body is drawn. I really believe that the best reference and practice you can get are the things you see everyday. It just really takes a lot of time to get there. It’s been ten years since I started and there is still so much more to learn. I’m very sure you’ll improve but it just really takes a lot of patience and dedication. Plus practice, practice, and practice. :)
oscillategently asked : Hello! I've been following you on Tumblr for almost a while now because of your illustrations, but it occurred to me that I haven't really seen everything entirely. As a result, I did a backreading of your posts. I think they all look really nice. Also, if you don't mind me asking, may I ask what software you use at most for your digital work? I hope this doesn't come off to you as prying; I just happen to be curious, that's all. Haha. :)
Hi waterrmelonsmiles! Sorry for the late reply. I used to draw using SAI for my digital works then finalizing it using photoshop. But recently I switched to mac. Now I’m using full photoshop for my illustrations. And thank you for the wonderful comment! :)
